Letters to the Editor

Readers are invited to submit letters not more than 500 words long for possible publication. Psychiatric News reserves the right to edit letters and to publish them in all editions—print, electronic, or other media. Submission of a letter implies consent for publication unless otherwise indicated in the letter. Receipt of letters is not acknowledged. All letters must include the correspondent's name and address and are subject to editing to meet style, clarity, and space requirements. Preference is given to letters submitted by APA members.

Letters may be sent to psychnews@psych.org. Please include "Letter to Editor" in the subject line and address your letter to Catherine F. Brown, Executive Editor, Psychiatric News. Please include your name and address.
